Account Executive, Promotional Products

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for supporting the client’s promotional marketing needs
  • Provide subject matter expertise and tactical management of the day-to-day activities for the specific account/s
  • Provide innovative solutions and identify new business, cost savings and efficiency opportunities
  • Responsible for understanding brand marketing and merchandising
  • Partner with the client, Account Management, and Business Development teams to assist with selecting the appropriate promotional items to source and secure
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, including managing client and supplier relations and preparing orders for entry into our systems.
  • This position is responsible for on-going proactive account maintenance and client support, including problem call resolution and keeping the client informed of changes or additions to our products and services that might be of value.
  • Provide proactive and creative ideas within a cross functional, collaborative team environment
  • Facilitate and manage multiple projects, client expectations and deliver a better, more cost effective result for the client
  • Conduct project meetings with stakeholders to define business requirements, communicate status, and oversee projects.
  • Develop merchandising marketing strategy and effectively promote online stores to users and stakeholders
  • Monitor and analyze client performance reports to ensure targets are being met
  • Other duties as assigned or required within the leadership role

  • Strong knowledge of ASI suppliers, domestic and overseas production of promotional items

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products specifically Excel
  • Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Some college or bachelor’s degree a plus.
  • Solid industry experience with promotional products will also be considered
  • 5+ years of relevant promotional products expertise including apparel
  • 5+ years of successful experience working closely with promotional products vendors including the negotiation of pricing
  • Strong knowledge of promotional vendors, both domestic and overseas production of promotional items
  • Ecommerce experience is a plus specifically Foundry OrderForge and/or Oracle NetSuite
