Responsibilities

• Create customer invoices using 3-step billing (vendor invoice - cost allocation - prepare invoice)
• Prepare monthly billing summary reports for multiple customer accounts
• Record vendor invoices in Accounts Payable ledger
• Prepare and mail / email customer invoices
• Account reconciliations including bank and credit cards
• Assists monthly reconciliations of inventory
• Assists in audit inquiries from external auditors
• Assists monthly reconciliations of inventory
• Filing and sorting within department as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
• 1-2 year relevant accounting experience
• Basic understanding of GAAP
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel                          
• Experience with various software programs
• Strong knowledge of Excel – ability to manipulate data, create pivot tables, V-lookups, charts, graphs, etc.
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
• Highly organized and ability to multi-task at a high level
